Our terms and conditions are to avoid any miscommunication between our company and our customers. Please read them through prior to your move and let us know if you have any questions.
1. Parking must be arranged and is the responsibility of the customer. Please make sure you take care of that, as any parking fines must be paid by the customer to the driver or the removal team manager on completion of the job.
2. Extra payment of £8 is required if travelling through the congestion charge.
3. Extra fuel charges may apply when travelling outside the M25.
4. There is a minimum charge of £94 for goods going to the recycling centre, tip, dump or waste centre.
5. Jobs running over the estimated completion time will be charged at half hour increments.
6. There is a 2 hour minimum on all jobs At our discretion. After 2 hours, rates are charged in half hour increments.
7. Our hourly and mileage charges & quotations (pre-priced tasks) are inclusive of VAT.
8. Payment must be paid by cheque 5 working days prior to the job date or by cash immediately after the job is finished. Or buy a method pre agreed with us.
8 a For jobs outside the uk but inside Europe we will ask for a %10 deposit upon pick up.
9. Our arrival times are estimated, and although we do our best to be on time, circumstances out of our control (such as heavy congestion) may cause slight delays. No discount applies due to lateness.
10. We are not liable for the electrical and mechanical derangement unless shown to be as a result of physical external damage to the item concerned or as a result of fire, flood, collision or overturning of road vehicles or other conveyances.
10a Unless you ask us to prepare your items for transit we will not be resposiable for any damage as listed in paragraph 10 if you instruct us to prepare the items there may be a charge. If we pack your item and any danage occurs you may claim up to £1000 per item from our insurance.
11. We are not liable for the breakage, scratching, denting, chipping, staining and tearing of items packed by you including trunks, suitcases and the like unless reasonably attributable to physical damage to such items caused by collision or overturning of road vehicles or other conveyances.
12. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property after job is complete and payment is received.
13. Your Responsibilities (you need to)
13.1 You need to confirm to us that the goods being removed are your property or that you have the authority of the owner to enter into this contract in relation to the removal of the goods and the storage thereof. Obtain at your own expense all permissions, consents, licences, permits or customs documents required for the removal of the good.
13.2 Be present, either personally, or through an authorised representative, during the collection and delivery process.
13.3 Prepare and stabilise all appliances prior to their removal.
13.4 Take reasonable precautions to prevent the unauthorised removal of goods not belonging to you and check to ensure that your goods are duly removed.
13.5 Provide proper protection for goods left unattended or in unoccupied premises.
13.6 We not be liable for the customer overloading the van the driver will not automatically check the load but may refuse to take the load if unsafe. The customer is wholly liable for any fines delays or any out of pocket expenses incured as a result of overloading our vans.
Our maximum loading capacity is 2000kg
13.7 We will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or additional expense that may occur as a result of your failure to fulfil these obligations(13.1-13.5) unless by reason of our own negligence or breach of contract.
